Perspective: From selfish to selfless... A reasonable service
I spent the first twentythree and a half years of my life with good friends and good family but 100% devoted to myself and my happiness. I've spent the following seven and a half years in awe that God would save such a selfish person and bless him with a wife and two amazing children and a 3rd on the way. As we approach 5 years of pastoring in the city of Brea I am more excited than ever to give all that I have to the Lord and His children He has sent to The Way to nurture their relationship with Him. I still have a selfish nature but I spend as many hours as possible every day practicing to become the selfless man I desire to be. Prayfully the Lord will give me another 60 or so years of ministry to get it right!
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.
